Welcome to Henry´s closet! Sorry about the dust...
Many people have heard us say that we have 17+ rooms of stock in our main office. What those people do not often realize, is that we are not exaggerating! We really do have 17+ rooms and a huge volume of stock -- and not all of it is stamps. Our office has been home to various and sundry items that we have acquired with stamp collections. In the past we've had such items as a multi-frame butterfly collection (the insects not the stamps) and a 10 pound fossilized fish. Stamp collectors are a unique breed and one never knows what else they have beyond stamps.
Henry's closet is really a database for our odds and ends -- items that we think may interest you, but do not appear on any lists or at our shows. Here you will find a large selection of flight and event covers, topical stamps, paper ephemera, and assorted other items.... and fossilized fish, if we happen to have them. Although the best way to use the closet is to browse the titles one at a time, the easiest way is probably to use the use the search form found at the upper right of your screen. Here are some tips on effective searching:
- if search without result, try using more general words like 'flight cover' instead of 'National Airmail Week Flight Cover' -- sometimes if you are too specific, you will not get any results though there might be items in the database for you.
- if you get too many results, try being more specific. =]
- keep in mind that the closet will be constantly growing. Note the number of items in the closet (under the page title): you might want to search again if the number has changed.
- if you don't seem to be getting any results, feel free to email us! We're happy to help.
